"Madhulika"
Madhulika is 92 and can be counted among the women who have found true enlightment.
In September 2007 we traveled to Carbondale to film a portrait of Madhulika. At that time Madhulika lived in a rickety old house with her daughter Karen. Karen was seriously ill. So we had to postpone the interviews.
In the following months Karen died and Madhulika moved into a new place. When we came back in February 2008 Madhulika was still mourning her beloved daughter. But at the same time she talked about her inner state of peace and happiness. In the interviews she shares her personal spiritual path and how she found God within her heart.
